Unlike other slow control pads like the Zowie GSR this pad actually holds up well against humidity/temperature, which makes it a much more consistent and durable mouse pad. The glide is a bit faster than the GSR but there is a similar amount of control/friction from the start point which can be very beneficial for tac fps like CSGO where you need to hold your angles and be precise when aiming for headshots. But it’s a bit harder to use for faster paced games where you need to change direction a lot when aiming horizontally, because of the high friction. This mouse pad is best paired with a light weight mouse imo.

Got my hand on the G Pro Wireless Superlight a week before I ordered the Equate. I have been struggling to find “My type of mousepad” and been trying around with some speedpads and the most common mousepads and different mouses for a year when i come back to gaming mostly FPS games. I really was improving with light mouses , but was struggling with the tracking and flicking.
I got the mousepad and directly paired it with the Superlight , and I have never been this consistent since I started playing again.
Higher HS percent better flicking and tracking more on point. Also trying other mouses , and its the same feeling more consistent aim overall.
I can really recommende this mousepad for FPS games.
Im 1.5 sense and 400 DPI in CSGO and trying to higher the sense week by week and I improved so far.
Best mousepad by far i have been tried.

Instantly became my main pad. This has everything I want, outstanding control with the right amount of speed to it. The wide range of sizes makes picking the perfect size for your desk a dream. Absolutely love the design on it, it’s such high quality and I can’t wait to play my games of choice on it. Not effected by Humidity and the glide is so consistent.
A must try for control pad enthusiasts.

This pad has become my new main, I have had nearly all mainstream mousepads before this and I am blown away. I love it. I mainly play FPS so the control it offers is brilliant for me, I’m pretty crap at writing reviews, just know that if you’re looking for a control pad, this is the one to go for. It’s like a new GSR, except it doesn’t lose its glide.

Usually when I play games, I tend to overshoot some of the flickshots and my tracking was off, but I was using old Cooler Master Storm mouse pad, which was just perfect for me, but after some time it started showing it’s age, edges were peeling, cloth was worn out, so I started looking for a new mouse pad and I stumbled upon a couple of YouTubers that were reviewing this mouse pad and I was like: “Hey, it might suit me nice, especially because it’s control pad and has equal moving speed, both on x and y axis.” Long story short, it’s the most amazing mouse pad i’ve ever laid my hands on. It’s smooth, it’s soft, doesn’t feel obnoxious or uncomfortable, material is sturdy, stiching is top notch,… just everything about it feels ultra amazing. The glide is amazing in both directions, it’s smooth, no bumps, isn’t scratchy, doesn’t snag on your clothes or skin if you rest your forearms on it so it doesn’t slow down your movement. And it looks good, especially if you have white desk.
If you are looking for a mouse pad that both, performs and looks good, look no further (unless you want more speed, then check out Equate Plus). You won’t regret it, and I recommend it!

I own some of the featured mouse pads in r/mousepadreview, namely the Artisan Hein soft, GSR-SE, MP510 … and I can tell you this is the my favorite among all.
It is a control pad with smooth but not very slow glide and very significant stopping power which is an ideal pad. It is amazing because normally you will suffer from the muddy glide when you use a control pad to track, but this just doesn’t have the problem. My sensitivity is 30.3cm/rev and I definitely don’t feel this pad is too slow (I think this is safe for people under 40 cm/rev, if you really worry about this just try the control +).
The surface is soft, smooth and very comfortable. More importantly, it won’t slow down your hand’s movement even if you rest whole forearm on it which should eliminate the biggest concern of speed pad users toward control pads.
In terms of speed, it is a bit slower than GSR-SE. I can’t tell which one is absolutely better than the other, but at least in my opinion this is not worse than the GSR-SE because it function as good as GSR-SE and don’t have the humidity issues of the GSR-SE and probably don’t have the coating wears off problem because this doesn’t use coating. Moreover, just scroll up and look at the price. Why don’t you give it a try?

I’ve always been a speed pad so admittedly this is my first jump into the control pad territory, but honestly I could not be more happy with the mousepad. The material is super unique, I don’t know how to describe it except it almost feels fuzzy. The material does not irritate my skin as I thought it would upon initial testing.
Previously owning about 4 different types of mousepads, this has to be one of my favorites. My other mousepads constantly moved around my desk when playing due to the rubber not being solid enough. However, the base of this mousepad is very good and it never moves.
The stitching on my thor left a lot to be desired and I wasn’t really a big fan of it, however, the Equate has MUCH better stitching, there are no frayed angles and everything seems very high quality.
On top of this, the balance between speed and control is very easy to notice. I was nervous coming from speed pad territory that this mousepad might be a little to slow for me, however, it has helped my stopping power in games and while I haven’t noticed a significant improvement in my overall gameplay, my headshot percentage HAS gone up. This mousepad is really great, and I truly recommend it.

Coming from a Logitech G840, I would never go back! This mouse pad is awesomely quick and has the best control of any mousepad I’ve used.
