The Equate is the equilibrium of speed and control type of mousepad. Some players are having a hard time with speed mousepad due to excess flick shots and some users also encounter problems with control type because of tracking. The Equate has some micro fibers that you can feel along the mousepad when gliding. For me, this is what I recommend for users who are confused on choosing between a speed or a control type of pad

I’ve always been a fan of control pads, especially those that aren’t overly slow with swampy initial friction. The Equate doesn’t behave like that, it offers fairly easy tracking but also a good amount of stopping power when you call for it. I would class this as something closer to a balanced control pad. My favourite non-Artisan pad has always been the Zowie G-SR-SE, but now I’m not so sure anymore. In fact I think the Equate does everything the G-SR-SE can but better.
Furthermore, they have improved the stitching on this as well, it was pretty bad on the Thor but its really nice and more subtle on the Equate.

Usually I tend to prefer fast-playing pads like the Thor, Raiden, and Glide 38. When I got this Equate, it opened my eyes. I didn’t realize how important control was on a pad. My tracking, editing, and Kovaaks scores all instantly improved. This pad has seemed to find the perfect balance of speed/control. It has very low static friction and a nice smooth glide. There are no other pads that It can be directly compared to. It is very high quality, and has a unique texture. Speed and control are both important. I highly recommend this pad to truly find the PERFECT BALANCE.
