The Adam Warlock of mice. The only problem is that no other mouse will feel as good.

    Krytex (verified owner)

Nimble and light in weight but dark in colour and with enough flare to make the gamer want to stay on his/her pc forever.
The build quality feels strong and sturdy and the rgb is smooth and bright. As someone who has used an ergonomic mouse for 5 years I have to say going light weight my hand has never felt so merged with a mouse until now. The clicks are amazing and the scroll wheel is so smooth while allowing me to perfectly scroll from my sniper to AR in an instant. The nice grey colour on the top matches my Corsair MM350 mouse pad and GOT Throne pop vinyl making my setup look complete. The para cord makes the mouse feel wireless and the sensor is nothing more than what modern technology can offer. If you are used to or prefer an ergonomic mouse this will truly satisfy your quench for better gaming; flicks and 90s have never been so good, I was actually 90ing so fast I 180d.
TLDR Incredible. If you’re looking for the perfect ergo mouse then stop because you have found it.

Great quality mouse. Great support from X-Raypad.

    OpStorm95

This mouse is very high quality. I have used many mice until this point and this is by far, one of my favourites. If you like the EC series from Zowie, you will love this mouse. It is incredibly comfortable to play with and hold in your hand. The build quality on the mouse is very good. The m1, m2 buttons are crisp, light, and have no pretravel. The scroll wheen has a nice click and the steps are defined, but not too loud. It is good for browsing and gaming. The side buttons are some of the best I have ever seen on a mouse. They have zero pre-travel and a nice click. The sidewall of the mouse flexes a tiny bit, but it is not a deal-breaker by any means. The holes in the side of the mouse help with gripping the mouse. I love the matte coating on this mouse as well. The weight of this mouse makes it feel very good in game. The cable is the best I have ever seen on a wired mouse. It is very flexible. It feels like a proper paracord. The mouse feet glide well on my mousepad as well. The packaging is a nice surprise and it is nice to see a company provide extra feet.
PS. X-Raypad is great to deal with. Shipping is fast and they respond very quickly. I had an issue with the first mouse I received and they helped me right away. One of the better sellers out there.
I highly recommend this if you want an ergonomic, light, and well-built mouse.

    An Ergo Classic

    Leezy (verified owner)

I want to preface this review by saying I, like many interested in this mouse, had some initial skepticism towards X-Raypad and G-Wolves. I had not heard of either of these companies up until the announcement of the G-Wolves Skoll. I can safely say my fears were completely unwarranted. Not only did my mouse arrive two days after shipment, but X-Raypad was EXTREMELY helpful when I ran into an issue with the mouse software. Their customer support spent the entire day helping me until we finally resolved the issue and the mouse and software are working great now.

The recent wave of lightweight mice has given way to a rise in competitors all vying to have the lowest weight numbers and drill the greatest number of holes into their mice. Most of these companies have used the ambidextrous model for its practicality and safety in design. However, G-Wolves have taken a different approach by using the ergonomic design for their all new gaming mouse, the Skoll, and I have to say, this is a fantastic ergonomic mouse.

G-Wolves is a Chinese company based in Beijing, China specializing in manufacturing computer peripherals, specifically mice. I have not had the chance to try any of their other offerings prior to the Skoll. However, after the using the Skoll, I would be more than happy to try their other products.

    Packaging

The packaging was the first thing that surprised me. I watched all the videos about the tin the mouse is encased in but expected nothing more than that. The actual tin itself is wrapped and shipped airtight in a nice cardboard box featuring the G-Wolves/Skoll branding and a snazzy design. Everything about the packaging experience feels extremely professional and well-done.

I have opened countless mice, and there always seems to be a major difference between opening mice from big companies such as Logitech or Zowie and opening mice from smaller companies. Bigger companies put a lot more effort into the design and care of the box, and the experience of opening these boxes reflects that quality. I am extremely happy to say G-Wolves has hit that mark and even exceeded it. The tin looks very nice in person and offers a fun level of collectability to the product. The packaging feels remarkably solid.

    The Skoll

Yes, this mouse is the bomb. I love my EC2-B Divina. I really, really do. In fact, I first discovered my love for ergonomic mice through the EC2-B. But I dislike the glossy coating and the weight of the mouse itself. And sure, I could go through the process of de-coating the mouse and drilling holes/removing unnecessary weight, but G-Wolves said I didn’t have to. The Skoll is incredibly similar to the EC2-B. I believe they differ VERY slightly in height and length, with the Skoll being ever so slightly longer and taller.

The Skoll is literally everything I wanted out of my EC2-B Divina and more. When I took the mouse for testing; I was shocked by the quality of the mouse itself. As I stated with the packaging, there is a certain air of quality to the product from bigger companies such as Logitech or Zowie. When you pick up one of their mice, it just feels solid and rugged. I really expect that level of quality from every mouse manufacturer, and some of the mice I have owned feel extremely cheap in comparison. However, G-Wolves came along and not only surprised me but proved my assumptions wrong. The Skoll feels incredibly premium in all facets.

The click switches are Omron D2FC-F-K(50M). The clicks feel extremely responsive and tactile. Both the left and right mouse buttons require very minimal pressure to actuate; slightly more pressure than the Logitech G-Pro. The side buttons feel very similar with a clicky and responsive feel. The side buttons lack a defined point of separation, so some people may have trouble with clicking both buttons at once depending on their hand size. Though this problem can be overcome with sheer practice. The scroll wheel is 24 steps and offers a good amount of feedback between steps. The scroll wheel click feels smooth and the amount of pressure needed to actuate the click is just the right amount. Not too hard, not too light.

The coating on the mouse is very interesting. It is a matte coating, but it feels distinctly grippy. It can almost feel slippery if you have sweaty hands. I prefer the matte coating on Logitech mice, but the coating used for the Skoll is still good. The mouse looks extremely nice in person. I have the white version of the mouse and the lighting effects combined with the lighter finish of the mouse give this mouse a fantastic look. The white version fades from white on top into a grey towards the bottom of the top of the mouse and is grey on the sides. The color scheme is very effective in person.

The Skoll weighs in around 66 grams and is true to G-Wolves’ claims. Going from the EC2-B Divina’s 90+g weight to the Skoll is such a dramatic difference. Flicking and just general aiming is greatly improved with the Skoll’s lightweight design. I have been so spoiled by the Skoll that just using the EC2-B for extended amounts of time tires my hand.
G-Wolves opted for the 3360 sensor for the Skoll. The 3360 is a tried and true workhorse of a sensor and has been used in countless mice without fail. The implementation of the 3360 in the Skoll is no different. The sensor never spins out and tracking works flawlessly. The feet of the mouse are Teflon with four located on each corner of the mouse and a bigger Teflon foot in between the bottom two feet. I think I would have preferred the approach taken on the EC2-B with two bigger mouse feet, but I don’t have any real complaints with how the mouse works on a mousepad.

    Conclusion

The G-Wolves Skoll is a stunning mouse. My expectations and my initial apprehension were completely blown away by this mouse. I don’t believe changing mice is the best way to improve gameplay, but this mouse has seriously improved my flicks. The ONLY thing I would desperately want is a smaller version of this mouse, which I hear is supposed to be on the way, so kudos to G-Wolves. I am ecstatic to see what releases G-Wolves has in store for us in the future.

My End of the Line - g703 vs Skoll

    Signis (verified owner)

    Hand size – 20x10cm
    I’ve used a g602, g903, and g703 (5 years, 1 year, 1 year respectively)

Ergonomic shapes have always been my preference. G602 was a really good mouse for me back in the day. My most favorite aspect of it was its size and shape. The g703 offered that ergonomic and wireless option for me as well as weighing less.

However, the g703 was just a bit too small. The Skoll fixes all of those issues. I just went down 40g from 107g to 67g and I didn’t even need to lower my sensitivity.

I already use around a 45-50cm/rev for most of my games and the cord is not a problem. However, I strongly recommend doing a zip-tie mod as it prevents the cord from getting under the mouse. This has made my mouse feel just as wireless as the wireless mice I’ve been using for the past 7 years.

As for the mouse itself, the side buttons are IMO a lot more responsive than the g703 for example. Very fast in general. The main buttons are just what you expect from any other good mouse. Another thing that I really liked about the mouse when I first got it was the scroll wheel. I often find that most mice aren’t really that distinct in their scrolls, so using it in an fps for example as a bind would make it unfeasible or prone to error. The skoll’s wheel is a lot more distinct and I can feel every individual scroll a lot more as opposed to the g703.

Mouse feet are what you’d expect. Stock ones provide good control, and obviously not as much glide as hyperglides, hotlines, or tiger arcs. I recently ordered some hotlines, so I’ll have to see what I prefer.

Other than that, there’s nothing really much I can say. Build quality is amazing, texture is really grippy and almost like fine sandpaper, which I really like. The software, although it needs refinement, is simple and doesnt need to be on once you get your settings applied, unlike logitech, where you need LGS on all the time.

    best ergo mouse out

    IlAffinityli

easily the best ergo mouse i have own and my favorite out of every mouse so far. buttons are crisp, especially the sides which i was worried about. the shape is perfect and the wire feels like a paracord but a little bit stiffer similar to the model o. my only complaint is that the side of my presses in just a tiny bit, it isnt completely structurally sound. it might just be my model and its not bothering me so much so far so ill keep using it until it does if it does.

One of the best mice re-imagined.

    Mochii (verified owner)

The G-wolves skoll is the worlds first light weight ergonomic mouse. This mouse uses one of the most beloved shapes ever made, the ec series and expands upon its design by adding brand new features and improvements while keeping all the most beloved aspects of the ec series.

    – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Whats inside the packaging: 1x Skoll gaming mouse 1x Extra paracord 1x Collectors tin box 2x Sets of mouse skates extra as well as wipes to clean residue. Also comes with 2 unique skates that can be attached to the bottom middle of the mouse for more glide. 1x Stick of the information of the mouse that can be applied to the bottom if prefered. and some paperwork that thanks you for your purchase.

    – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

The design details of the skoll:
Sensor: This mouse uses the Pixart 3360 sensor. Using one of the top sensors, the skoll will perform pretty much flawlessly in play and wont give you any issues with aiming. This sensor is used in many popular mice such as the finalmouse and model o, so you can expect top quality precision when gaming without any faults.

Buttons: The buttons used are Omron switches with 50m clicks. They are very light, tactile, Crisp sounding and has fast reponsiveness. If you have ever used a finalmouse, they are almost identical to the switches on that.

Weight: The skoll comes in at 66g, weighed with the cable. This is incredibly light considering the old ec series came in at 85g+. This mouse utalizes the honey comb design to keep the weight down. Anywhere and everywhere that could be thought of to lower the weight, has been removed.

Cable: The mouse uses an acutal paracord for the cable. Unlike the finalmouse and model o which their lightweight cables still have shielding, the skoll does not. The cable feels 99.5% like an actual paracord, only reason I didnt say it was 1:1 was due to the texture and weave being slightly different and tighter. However it still feels exactly like a paracord when in use.

Coating: The coating of the mouse is Matte. Its has a very subtle rough feeling that provides excellent grip. Its amazing for people who have sweaty hands. Mouse Skates: While the skates are not pure ptfe, they are still very good. When testing with the stock skates, I could say I had literally no issue with them and wouldnt mind keeping them on stock. They are very smooth right from the get go and glides really well. Id say they are more slightly on the speed end than control but still can aim precisely with ease. Overall never had a single moment where I felt the mouse being scratchy during use.

Side buttons: The side buttons on the skoll have completely been redesigned. They are in a new position and feel a lot more natural to press than the EC series. With the EC series, it always felt weird to press the side buttons during play. However with the new design, I have not once felt that and feel these were done perfectly. Its a major improvement. The side buttons also have no pre travel that the EC side buttons suffer from.

    – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Appearence: The design of the skoll is exactly the same shape as the EC series, except comes in slightly larger than the EC2-a and Smaller than the EC1-a. The coating on the mouse is matte. However the matte feel is a bit more rougher than mice like the model o. The color scheme of the mouse comes in two styles. Faded black and a subtle white. The version I managed to get was the black. The black version on the top coating features a fade from gray to black. Where as the sides and bottom of the shell were pure black. The Scroll whell is also black on the rubber and grey on the plastic. The G wolves skoll logo is tastefully added under the scroll wheel giving it a nice aesthetic look.

    – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Initial thoughts and final words: When I first took this mouse out of the packaging and held it, I instantly felt the same familiarity and feel of the ec2. It felt almost 100% the same. I had to look hard and compare the two to only realise the size was a tiny bit bigger. It still felt very natural and gripped a lot better to my hands than the ec2 (my hand size is 19.5×10). This mouse definately is one of the best on the market. The price costs 60$ and is worth every dollar. It has so much value and so many extras. If you were considering getting an ergonomic mouse, this should be your first choice. Its that good…
