Hi, Im wondering about the comparison between AC+V2 and AC Pro.
For reference, I have used AC+ white, AC+ print, Hein mid, & Saturn.
I am currently using Artisan Zero xsoft with Obsidian Air donuts. Currently looking to try something more sweat resistant and textured, as I have hyperhidrosis.
What I am wondering is how do the AC+ V2 and AC+ Black compare for sweat resistance? Are they better than the AC+ white? And how soft is the AC Pro Black Soft compared to original AC+ as well as AC+ V2? I find my Artisan Zero Xsoft to be too soft, thought I remember finding my Hein mid and even Saturn too hard, so Im looking for something along the lines of hein/zero soft. Im interested in trying the updated AC+ after maining them years ago(unfortunately the pad is too dirty to use, though it lasted over 2+ years).
Hello, the sweat resistance of AC+V2 and AC+ Black are almost same as they are same fabric.
The softness are close of the AC Pro Black Soft and AC+ V2. Original AC+ will harder than both.
In that case, you should try the soft version.
Do you think the softness of the AC+you have used before is suitable for you? Or do you want it to be softer/harder than AC+? This way, I can better recommend it to you.
The softness of the AC+ was good, but I can definitely go softer. I think AC Pro Black Soft will be good option for me. How are the obsidian air skates on the AC Pro black? My obsidian air donuts are currently in shipment so I have never tried it. Ive only tried PTFE feet on my old AC+, so Im wondering if using AC Pro black with obsidian skates will be significantly slower than typical ptfe on AC+. Im looking for just a little bit slower than the old combo(AC+ & ptfe), but a bit more faster than my current combo(hein xsoft & ptfe).
AC Pro Black&Obsidian indeed be slower than AC+&PTFE, but we are not sure where the speed will be when combined with Hein XSoft&PTFE. When AC Pro Black&Obsidian is not suitable, you can also adjust it by replacing it with a slower Obsidian Pro Air or faster Jade mouse skates.
Hello. Ive been using my Obsidian Air donuts on my Zero XSoft as well as my original AC+ white. I believe the sweet spot for me will be something in between the two, something a little bit slower and softer than the AC+ white but harder than the Zero XS. Im also considering the humidity resistance as a major factor for my next purchase. I guess what I am looking for is the best suited pad for humidity and sweat that is also slightly slower and softer than the original AC+ white. The AC Pro Black Soft is in my interest, however I saw in a different question thread that the AC2 has best sweat proof and the AC+ and AC pro are just under it, tied. But I do not know if all AC Pro pads are equal to each other in sweat resistance, since the NEON are heat treated while the black is not. I would not get the NEON or AC2 because it is faster than the original AC+.
Firstly, do you think the humidity resistance of AC+is suitable for you? If it is suitable, then only the softness needs to be considered. Due to the harder fabric surface of AC+ PORON compared to Zero, at the same XSoft softness, AC+Poron Xsoft will be slightly harder than Zero XS. So I would suggest you try AC+PORON XSOFT. You can consider it after we release AC+PORON XSOFT.
can you answer my question underneath, the one i posted yesterday?
The humid/sweat resistant of the AC Pro black XSoft are good as the AC+ White. The glide feel may vary slightly due to differences in softness or batch.
yes the humidity resistance of the AC+ is suitable for me. I still have to clean it, but it performs better than my zero. Wouldnt the AC Pro black Xsoft or soft be a good choice for me? or is it less humid/sweat resistant than the original AC+ white?
Hello I have interest in the printed AC pro lineup. I have been using the AC+ V2 for the past few months. I enjoy it, but it is not perfect. The harsh texture i believe is wearing down and smoothing out PTFE skates, which cause it to become slippery dynamically and sticky statically. When I use UHMWPE skates on my pad, its a little bit too slow. Im wondering, is the heat treated AC pro as sweat resistance and as durable as the non heat treated AC v2/AC pro? I heard online that the heat treated surface may make it less durable. I am still looking for a surface that withstands sweat and humidity, but is also a little faster and harder than my current AC+ V2 so that I can use UHMWPE skates on it. Im looking at the AC pro NEON mid and AC pro CUSTOM mid at the moment.
Slide Speed: Neon/custom printing(heated treatment) > Black(No heated treatment),Sweat resistance, humidity, and lifespan are the same!
I need my questions answered first. Is the Aqua Control Pro mid with heat treament less durable/sweat resistant than a typical aqua control/aqua control pro? Sweat resistance and humidity along with longevity of consistent surface is most important quality to me.
