I use several of your products, and I wanted to share some feedback along with a request.
In my experience, PTFE skates build up a lot of static on many cloth pads in dry conditions. In my room (around 40% humidity or lower), the mouse sticks to the pad and I can hear crackling between the skates and the surface. When I lightly dampen the pad, the problem goes away until it dries, so I’m fairly sure it’s static.
I really love the Origin Pro, but because of this static I can’t use it properly, which honestly makes me very sad.
So I’d love to see full-size (large-coverage) skates made of UHMWPE or POM, tuned for a sliding glide:
– Glide speed: slightly slower than Jade Speed, but faster than Jade Ultra
– Low static friction, so the mouse starts moving easily
– Full-size, large-coverage design
I suspect many cloth-pad users in dry environments run into the same issue, so I hope you’ll consider it.
