Stitches width

Hi,

Is the width of the stitches added to the width of the picture or will it crop/overlap a bit on the picture’s edges?

Here is my concern:

I have a 650 mm x 610 mm picture I would like to print and I want the edges stitched.

Let’s say for instance the stitches have a width of 4mm (how large are they actually?) , does it mean the pad will still be 650 mm x 610 mm (so the picture’s edge will be slightly cropped) or will it be 658×618 (and the picture won’t be cropped at all as the stitches are added to the picture size)?

Bonus question: how different is your fabric compared to neoprene? Is it slightly the same look and feel?

Thanks.

Good Question. If your mat size is 650mm x 610mm and keep whole image not cropped possibly. But anyhow the image will be cropped a little. I will suggest image size 648mm x 608mm for mat size 650mm x 610mm. So the edge stitching will cover a little of image, such 2mm each side. Hope it’s fine to you.
Answer to your other question: fabric is the top material of mat, we print image onto fabric, Not on Neoprene, which rubber material, so different.
