I bought the pad January 31 and it arrived on March, so it is 8 months old, this is not my main pad so I haven’t used it a lot, maybe 3 or 4 days a week, less than 4 hours every day, so it has roughly “4 months” of normal daily use. I 3 or 4 months ago  a slow spot in the middle of the pad started to appear, it won’t go away with warm water and soap, I’ve washed it 4 or 5 times, now is actually unusable, I think the surface is already worn out because when you touch the slow spot it feels soft and a little sticky to the hand, the spot is like a couple centimeters up the center and I wouldn’t care to use the mouse pad upside down to use the not worn out part, but as I said this section of the pad sticks to the skin and with a little bit of humidity or a sleeve is actually impossible to use because of the stickiness, so in a daily basis scenario the pad would have started slowing down with 2 months of usage and being unusable with 4 months, I think this is really low for a hybrid pad. Maybe it was my fault, I use a gpx with tiger ice V1 most of the time and lately I’ve been using a atlantis mini with tiger ice V2. Don’t know if the feet’s are the problem. But my strider and Hien the are both in good condition after a year of the same soft use. Never dropped any liquid or food in the pad and always washed it with warm water and a little bit of soap. Disappointed for say the least.

As an update, they wrote me and offered a discount in the store even when the pad was out of warranty. They don’t recommend “frequent cleaning as it may affect the feel of the mouse pad surface”. I won’t change what i said, I am dissapointed with the quality of the AC II (Sakura), but they were nice to me, thanked the feedback, solved a couple questions and even offered me a disscount when they didn’t had to, so I’ll be giving them another oportunity, this time i ordered an equate plus V2, let’s hope I just had bad luck with the AC II. I do recommend buying the AC II (It was really good… while it lasted) just try to be EXTRA careful with it, and if you have any problems with some of their products just email them, they are really fast to answer and willing to help, wich sadly is very rare to see.
