I will be ordering a custom mat to put on a pull-out keyboard shelf. I\’m needing to know how close to size the mats are made. I measure pretty close to 21\” across (not checked how deep yet). But I\’m worried if I order one exactly 21\” across it will be just slightly too long and will get in the way of the shelf going in and out. I\’m wanting to get the size as close as possible, so the shelf is fully covered but not impede it\’s movement.

I don’t, no. I re-measured and placed the order though. Length was 21.75″, and depth was between 11″ and 11.5″ (the front of the keyboard tray curves a bit in the front, so depends on where you measure). I went for 550mm x 280mm, which translates to 21.6535in x 11.0236in. If it is made “true to size”, I figured that should give enough leeway for the stitching. I’m fine if the depth is over 11in, I almost made it a bit deeper anyways, it would only be the front corners that wouldn’t’ fit on the desk, and gives just a bit more usable space.
