Aqua Control II became slow after a month

Hello, I ordered a custom Aqua Control II and it became pretty slow after a month usage. It’s only slow on the parts where I use my mouse though. The rest stayed fast like before. I game on it for about 4 hours every day and the climate in where I live is pretty standard (the AC is on). I noticed it’s rather slow with every mouse I use but especially the G Pro X Superlight because the mouse feet are big. Do you have any tips? Or perhaps ways to clean it without damaging the custom print? Thanks!
