Prints are made at 72 DPI, and the printed sheet is larger than the finished pad: we add a 5 mm bleed on every side so the artwork runs cleanly to the edge after cutting, with no white border. That gives a simple rule:

Add 10 mm to your pad size, then multiply by 2.83 (72 DPI) to get the recommended image pixels.

If your image falls short, that is not the end of the conversation. Our team manually edits artwork free of charge — resizing, sharpening, repositioning — with up to three revision rounds. (Other shops charge for this.) And if an image is genuinely too small — say, a phone screenshot — we can still print it, but we will tell you honestly what sharpness to expect before you commit. Nothing prints until you approve the preview.

Care: Why We Don’t Recommend Machine Washing

Some brands advertise machine-washable pads. We recommend the opposite: machine washing changes how the surface glides — and on a gaming pad, glide is everything.

The good news: the print is not the fragile part. Dye sublimation bonds the image into the fabric, so washing will not fade your art. What you protect is the feel. Wash by hand instead: soak in water with dish soap for at least 5 minutes, wipe gently in circles with a soft brush or cotton towel, rinse clean, and air-dry in the shade — never in the sun, never with a hairdryer. One exception: pads with a PORON (polyurethane) base should never be soaked; wipe the surface only.
