My current mousepad is melting in 2 spots

I am using the g502 lightspeed mouse with the charging mat underneath the playmat so I’m unsure if that is what’s causing it or not

Sorry I’m not sure, this is the first time we have seen this situation. 
This situation can only be caused by external factors that cause the product to have problems.
